Supermarket chain in Panama selected Greenwood Energy for the development of solar energy in its locations

Panama | December 2, 2017

Our company recently completed a pilot installation of photovoltaic solar energy on the roofs of Super 99 in Las Mañanitas, district of Panama City. The largest supermarket chain in the country selected Greenwood Energy to carry out a 941kW pilot as part of a framework agreement that will involve supplying 21 stores with PV power for a total of 16MW distributed in different locations across Panama. Through the use of clean energy, the chain will not only actlively collaborate in the deceleration of climate change, but also benefit from significant savings in its energy costs.
